Memorial Park Reflection
Jack Watkins Reserve
In this memorial garden
Where names echo in the breeze
Remembered here forever
Among the plants and trees
A place to come with thoughts
Of those no longer here
A peaceful place to ponder
And wipe away a tear
I imagine your memorial day
And the sky above this place
When white doves were set free
In a show of peace & grace
I came here from the country
To think of those who’ve passed
I could not be here on the day
But here I am at last………..
